Zpomalování dynamiky ekonomické aktivity
Hodnota Indexu očekávání firem se v současnosti pohybuje na úrovni prvního kvartálu roku 2016. Totéž platí i pro subindex plánované expanze podnikání. Subindex očekávané poptávky byl v úvodním čtvrtletí 2016 o něco výše a subindex investic naopak o něco níže než teď.
Historická data bohužel přesvědčivě ukazují, že změřené hodnoty indexu nejsou využitelné jako spolehlivý prediktor mezikvartálního, a tím méně pak meziročního, tempa růstu českého hrubého domácího produktu (HDP) v následujícím období. Neplatí, že by každý nárůst/pokles hodnoty Indexu nevyhnutelně signalizoval blížící se zrychlení/zpomalení tempa růstu HDP. Nicméně se domnívám, že vytrvalá eroze hodnot Indexu, kterou registrujeme v uplynulých dvou letech, je průvodním jevem a zároveň indikací do budoucna o trendu zpomalování dynamiky domácí ekonomické aktivity.
Je namístě zdůraznit, že zpomalování této dynamiky neznamená totéž, co hospodářská recese nebo dokonce krize, a to navzdory tomu, že ne vždy se uvedené pojmy dostatečně rozlišují. Zpomalování dynamiky ekonomické aktivity v současném Česku znamená, že hospodářství meziročně nadále roste, pouze tempo jeho růstu se snižuje. V jazyce Indexu očekávání firem a jeho subindexů se to projevuje tak, že rozdíl mezi počtem respondentů očekávajících zvýšení a snížení poptávky, investic a rozsah podnikání zůstává nadále kladný, jen mezera mezi oběma skupinami má tendenci se uzavírat.
O tom, že se v české ekonomice navzdory pokračujícímu poklesu Indexu očekávání firem neděje nic alarmujícího, hovoří mj. i výsledek průzkumu spokojenosti dotazovaných podnikatelů s ekonomickou situací v zemi. Celkem 68 procent spokojených respondentů je sice méně než rekordní tři čtvrtiny zjištěné v posledním kvartále 2017, zároveň však více, než kolik bylo naměřeno v jakémkoliv jiném čtvrtletí od počátku měření do poloviny roku 2017.
